The Badger Bed’s layered sleep system allows you to mix and match from three different quilts. No matter the conditions, whether you’re on the beach or camping in winter cold weather, we have exactly what you need for your camping adventures.
The Baja Quilt is a three-season synthetic insulation quilt you can use throughout the year. We use a 20D nylon fabric and stitch-through construction for this warm and comfy quilt that can be snapped together with other quilts for additional warmth. We use YKK snaps to connect quilts together so they will not move around while you are sleeping. The snaps also allow you to securely drape the quilt over your shoulders to keep you warm around camp.

Buy a bundle or build your specially crafted Badger Bed the way it fits into your outdoor adventures. Here is how :

Add your Badger Bed shell (25 or 30) to cart.

Add a Mattress (L or XXL) and Pillow.

Add your Portage Duffel Bag (95L or 120L) to cart.

Add your sheet set to cart (e.g. Sonora, Mojave and/or Cascade).

Add your quilt to cart (e.g. Sierra and/or Baja).

Add any accessories to cart (e.g. mud mat and footprint).

Create your own combination and order as separates so you can build a Badger Bed with your own special signature.

The construction and the materials seem top notch.
I sleep outside on a tarp almost 100% of the time. (As opposed to being in a tent) Anyone who sleeps under the stars a lot knows that any little thing, like cold, or wet , or the wind will prevent a good nights sleep. The top cover of the bed is very light and somewhat tight when zipped completely up.
The wind is a major issue with this bed and it is not waterproof.
So this bed is awesome if you are sleeping in a tent.
As a comparison, my old fashioned canvas bedroll is waterproof and windproof, and is very comfortable when completely zipped up.
You all have designed a very nice bed, as long as you use it in a tent.
Purchased the Badger Bed 30‚ thinking the Badger Bed 25 wasn't big enough for me and my 2 s-medium (not quite medium but little to big to be small) dogs. The Badger Bed 30 is really wide and very comfortable. I had purchased Serra bundle and Baja. After testing both, Baja would have been good for most of my needs. In fact Baja package was more useful then Serra.
Used it together with the Siera down quilt and flannel top sheet at elevation 11,265‚ and it was raining and cold. I was warm in long underwear inside the tent.
