How to build your Badger Bed:
Add your Badger Bed Shell to cart.
Add a Mattress and Pillow.
Add your Portage Duffel 120L or 95L to cart.
Add your sheet set to cart (e.g. Sonora, Mojave and/or Cascade).
Add your quilt to cart (e.g. Sierra and/or Baja).
Add any accessories to cart (e.g. pump, mud mat and footprint).
Go to cart and complete checkout.

Construction and Materials
We carefully researched fabric options and selected this shell material as it affords high performance and with less impact on the environment. All of our fabrics are woven from polyester yarn made from recycled plastic bottles.
The Badger Bed has a rugged outer shell constructed of postconsumer recycled 600 denier poly oxford ripstop fabric with a C6 DWR TPU-coating, which provides exceptional durability, water repellency, and resistance to abrasion.
The Badger Bed top layer is a 210 denier nylon oxford fabric with two-way stretch for extra comfort. This offers good wear resistance while also providing breathability. Heavy-duty YKK zippers attach the top layer to the outer shell and the placement allows for left side or right side entry.

These are extremely comfortable and I love them for being on the road in the back of the truck and camping (in a tent)! My husband and I purchased these excited to be able to sleep under the stars cowboy style. Unfortunatley, it did not turn out so well as we had our beds rolled out and the humidity soaked through the top layer and onto our down blanket and through the flannel sheets. It made for a really cold night. If you use these, make sure you have a tent if the humidity is high. I'm glad we discovered this early on on our adventures. Unfortunatley dealing with the down blanket was not a fun experience it took 2.5 days to fully dry and had to unclump by hand every few hours to get it dry. I wonder if we used the sythetic we may have had a better experience, but they did not come woth the bed. (sold seperateley) Other than this they are a great bed, I would suggest having a more water repellant surface for the outer shell on top.
The Badger Bed is a perfect solution for car camping / overlanding.. I have an iKamper X-Cover RTT and im sick and tired of crawling up there to inflate and deflate the air mattresses for my kids. I've paired the Badger Bed / Flannel sheets / down quilt w a HEST Foamy wide mattress. It fit perfectly and folds in half perfectly when closing the RTT. Finally! No more huge mountains of sheets, sleeping bags, quilts and pillows.. The badger keeps everything nice and neat and keeps my kids within the confines of their bed. This is HUGE advantage in set up and break down for anyone trying to streamline their camping experience. I would urge Badger Bed users to try the HEST Foamy wide.. It will roll up although the roll becomes pretty big and hard to latch. But for my application its perfect. No inflating and not worries about popping the mattress. Looking forward to more products from Born Outdoor in the future! Thank you! C Hogan
I have not had the opportunity to use these yet, but I can speak to both the quality of material and their customer service. The bed fits the Exped Megamat perfectly, and the bottom part seems very thick and abrasion resistant, to the point that, barring being on gravel, I wouldnt be concerned in the least about this getting torn up while laying directly on the ground. VERY responsive customer service-personally answering emails late into the evening!!! I wish you all the best of luck-from an "old soldier"!
So we took my wife camping for THE FIRST TIME EVER. She didn't want a trial run in the backyard so we went FULL SEND & took her 8 days tent camping in THE ROCKIES (at over 13k feet!!). These were our/my saving grace! Check out our review vid here:

If you have the bulk room, there is nothing better Such a well engineered/thought out piece of gear.
Sleep is one of the big 3 and this is as good as it gets. Love the mondo king. I have used several for years, this addition is awesome !!!!!
